Anthony Ward, a multi-millionaire who lives in the UK, founded a hedge fund named Armajaro Holdings which recently purchased 241,000 tons of cocoa beans for the grand amount of £658 million. It is suggested by people in the know that the mountain of beans will be held in warehouses in London, Liverpool, Humberside and Holland.

It is a must watch for everyone if you want to see someone choosing to live life ‘their own way’ without the everyday consumerism to distract them from living lifeto the fullest. This proves it is not what you choose to be and do but why you choose to be and do what is your own to seize and be!

Richard Branson of Virgin Group just did an interview with the Wall Street Journal which characterizes the success and failures of his ventures to date through five ‘secrets’. Five ‘secrets’ yet so obviously in plain view for all of us to use and utilize. The one he has stated over and over many times when asked similar questions about success ‘formulas’ is to love what you do, enjoy getting out of bed in the morning. How many of us love what we do each day and ‘jump’ out of bed early to get on with our day? As Richard so expressly explains you got a love what you do as it takes up 2/3’s of your time, every day! I decided to do a calculation of sorts. Following my article September 29th on Malcolm Gladwell’s book, The Outliers, I decided to do something interesting and factual about myself. I examined my own work ethic. Specifically, how many years it took for me, Grant Gibson, to achieve 10,000 hours of work ethic. When I did all the numbers(hours of work), I achieved this magic number before the age of twenty. As a matter of fact, I achieved it between 18 and 19 years of age. I went back to the first time I got a small job at the Edmonton Municipal Airport* working for Mike Hackman Aircraft Sales. I was 13 years old at the time.

Malcolm Gladwell, author and writer for The New Yorker, wrote an investigative book called Outliers, The Secret of Success on the inside secret to real wealth. Turns out no to be a secret after all. Hard work prevails once again. It’s a scientific look into the world of how culture and serendipitous timing plays a major influence into who will achieve success and who may miss out. His hard core fact remains clear, hard work prevails to achieve what you want in this life. As a matter of fact 10,000 hours of hard work will make you a master of your art. 10,000 hours of commitment will make you wealthy if that is your desire.

An old cowboy movie I viewed a while ago had an exchange between a judge and defendant regarding his being told he was free to leave as the charges against him did not stand up in court. When the man was dismissed the judge leaned over the table, bent his head slightly and suggested to the free man in a polite but firm matter, “While the bee’s in the butter, you better get on your way, if you know what I mean”.
